I am re ripping all my cd,s using PCDJ.
This morning i did a BPM scan on all that i,ve done so far. About 20 showed as 0 BPM, and some that i tested playing said error loading. This same file plays in every other player i have. What is wrong with PCDJ. I cant test every file i rip Any ideas????

I've had this happen on a few cd's. The only way i have found round it was to go from the original to cdr then rip the cdr with PCDJ then it seem to work. All i could put it down to was some sort of protection on the original.

If i rip useing another program its fine. But like i say, this would mean testing every file ripped.I really want to rip useing PCDJ as this will tag them as i want them.

To be absolutely honest, this has happened to me too Paul and it just seems very random to be honest. When you find a corrupted file you just need to rip it again.

You could try tagscanner or tagsweeper, as pointed out on the PCDJ forum, but you still might get the odd corrupted file unfortunately.

But then, have you played every single one of your Mp3s?

I wouldn't use PCDJ to rip from CDs, I tried it a few times when I first got it and it never seemed to work properly - I'd be inclined to agree with Mike, use Media Player and just insert to DJ for BPM extraction etc.

How long does that take then??

Do you have time in between gigs? :omg:

Based on the assumption that you could fit 20 songs into an hour, that's 480 songs per day, and 3360 songs a week.

So, you leave your computer running for about 6 and a half weeks then? :omg:

In hindsight Mike, I suppose you mean you play the files you have just ripped.....and not the whole record case.
