Hi all,
Doing a Wedding next month and the bride isn't sure what song to play first for her and her new hubby - is this a bad sign? lol.
I am compiling a list for her to give her some ideas.
Anyway, I would appreciate it, if you could give me your top ten first songs to be played at a Wedding.

thanks

Dolly

Aerosmith - "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" is always a popular first dance track..but also would be suitable to play ealier on.

This track, as well as other mentioned can be found on Mastermix Classic Cuts - The Ultimate Modern Ballads Collection (situated here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MasterMix-Classic-Cuts-The-Ultimate-Ballads-Collection_W0QQitemZ130009544633QQihZ003QQcategory Z4785QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting))

Hope this helps :)

Just having a look through our booking forms to see the most recently requested ones. I've left out the more 'obscure' ones, but at recent weddings (in no particular order) we've had:-

Cindi Lauper - Time After Time
Savage Garden - Truly Madly Deeply
Michael Buble - The Way You Look Tonight (first time this version requested, but quite a poplular song)
Nick Lachey - This I Swear
Bryan Adams - Heaven
Dusty Springfield - The Look of Love
Carly Simon - Nobody Does It Better
Barry White - Your the First, .....(etc)
DJ Sammy - Heaven (Candlelight Mix)
Shania Twain - From This Moment
Paul Weller - Wings of Speed
Phil Collins - Groovy Kind of Love
Lionel Richie & Diana Ross - Endless Love
Nat King Cole - Unforgettable
Sarah McLaughlin - Angel
James Blunt - You're Beautiful
.... and the inevitable Bryan Adams - Everything I do

Hope this helps a bit, but of course your suggested recommendations should be influenced by what they've told you about their own music tastes. :teeth:

Why not ask the b&g to name a few of their fave artists.. then find one they both like and suggest a slowish, suitable one by them..

Many thanks. I have chatted to the bride and groom, and they wanted me to compile a list - hence this post.
It's very helpful too.
