Hello,
As some of you may already know, I am currently using a Peavey PV 1500 power amplifier to run my 2 Peavey Pro 15's + 2 Peavey Pro Subs which I use for my DJ sound system at gigs.
Over these last few weeks of gigging, I have felt the weight of the amp strain my back and I already have back problems so I don't want to do anymore damage to my back.
I have thought about selling my Peavey Amplifier and getting 1 or 2 lightweight amplifiers to run my speakers.
Ideally, I would like to get 2 amps and 1 crossover so I can run 1 amp on tops, 1 amp on subs and have a cross over to split the signals.
I haven't worked out how much I would like to spend yet, but I don't want to spend no more than £600 if I can help it.
What do you think and what amplifiers would you reccommend?
Many Thanks,
Tom
