"DJs have it pretty sweet, dont they? They make megabucks just for playing records, go clubbing for a living, and get to date superstars."

Yeah, I live in a club me, infact im so rich I don't even have a mortgage on it, and I'm 17, raking it in. Also just got engaged to angelina jolie.

How about you guys?

it says, I quote: "DJs have it pretty sweet, dont they? They make megabucks just for playing records, go clubbing for a living, and get to date superstars. The Homemix CDJ1 can give you a taste of this life."

I'm no expert, but surely that statement violates some Trade Descriptions legislation!

Perhaps we should upgrade our DN9000 and CXM for a Homemix, and see if it really does bring in loads more money and attract lots of nubile nympho-chicks :teeth: :teeth:
Give it 3 months, if it doesn't, let's sue the holiday camp :omg:

Im ignoring it--I dont think this advertising will cause any loss of work to proper Entertainers who have nothing to fear--or worry us as we go about our work professionally.

It looks like its aimed at lightweight bedroom DJs :teeth:

However an official complaint by the MDA is a good idea :teeth:

Someone phoned me last night for a Wedding and mentioned they might finish the evening using the PA system in the Hall---I couldnt stop laughing!

Why are you laughing they said :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

It came across as very tongue-in-cheek. I wasn't offended in the slightest, I can't understand why some of you are so taken aback at the ad?

It won't affect us working DJ's in the slightest, just a bit cheeky.

The product is aimed at very young people anyhow (13 down ish).

My son got given one for Christmas, he was only 9 then, and he loves it. The only problem is, he now wants to play with my kit!!

You're missing my favourite feature - the cassette player...to record all your sick mixes on to a ....erm.....what are those things called....ah yes a C90 cassette.

Does anywhere still sell cassettes?.....

The reason being, the emails from here and also the fact that the chairman of the NADJ picked up on it too (the day after me though!!)
