Off to do a teenage party soon...

I haven't done one for a while, so I've got one of our younger DJs coming with me!

Glow sticks and R&B at the ready...

I'm gonna see if I can get a bit of film and a few piccys of the show too...

It's only a small hall, but I'm taking a 2K rig, so should be loud enough :teeth:

Someone's just told me there is a sound limiter there - should be interesting!

I worked there a couple of years ago and there wasn't one then - boo!

Last time I did a 13th birthday party, I had 3 lads come up pestering me to use the mic so they can do their rap! "We got the beats on our phone n evryfin yeh". :D ... Needless to say I declined their tempting offer... Morons :)

Great.

Nice polite kids - mostly girls with about 3 boys.

Played R&B, chart, lots of requests and a few party songs and they seemed to enjoy it.

Set off the alarm with a smoke machine a few times... :embarasse I rang the council in the afternoon to ask if it was OK to use one and they told me it was fine!

The two chaps that worked there were very friendly though and let me carrying on using it - I must admit the Dynatwins looked great. I've got some video and piccys that I'll upload next week when I've got a minute.

Also took some glow sticks to give away which the kids loved and the mother was so grateful and couldn't believe how much gear I had. :)

I only put it on my site a few months ago and we've done 3 as a company, and that's the first I've done, and it was OK actually.

If the kids were all that well behaved then it wouldn't be so bad.

However, I do tend to do them a lot cheaper than other work, so won't be doing too many personally.. :teeth:

Not too bad if you can pick them up as 'extras' on days you wouldn't normally have a gig

I didn't say "I expect" at all, but as it happens they were very well behaved.

And I'm based in nottingham, I get it all the fuppin' time  .

It's mostly with 13 - 16 year olds that I get that kind of thing. (With the exception of some). Most of the 18ths and older I do are brill! :teeth:

Makes a nice change If I have a 16th where some little ghetto wannabes don't get thrown out on their ar** for fighting or causing some trouble :omg:
