I've just downgraded from Vista to XP Pro Service Pack 3 and now the file path to my desktop has changed corrupting all my playlists, does anyone know how to change it to save me re-doing all my playlists?
I've done my external drive by changing the HDD letter and that's sorted, but still need to point the internal drive to the path I had while using Vista, hope this makes sense. :)

Open the playlist in notepad and change the file path in there.

This may help you: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
Using the 'TweakUI' tool

Yeah I googled my problem too :p I just wanted to see if any of our boffins had a resolve :)
Open the playlist in notepad and change the file path in there.
Would I have to do that for every track in every playlist?

Open the playlist in notepad and change the file path in there.
Would I have to do that for every track in every playlist?Yes, but by using 'Replace', it would be a breeze. For example :
Edit->Replace
Find What : "c:/xxx/xxx/"
Replace With : "c:/yyy/yyy/"
:)

Will I need a search & replace program to do that Callum?
Edit: Is this the ticket then? http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000549.htm

Sussed it now, cheers Roger & Callum :beer1: :)No probs :)
