I'm going to try for one closer to the City Centre. I noticed there was one a few hundred yards from Reflex.

Errrrrrrr, please take not of the thread by I think Scott ( SJS ) about that one. If you thought that last years was less than salubrious, apparently compared to that, it's 5 star luxury. :D :D :D :D

I'll find a link if I can. Yup.

Maypole is closer to that pub too & if we get the big taxis again it only costs a couple of quid each

Shaun
03-03-2011, 11:12 AM
I don't know what happened, but I ended up paying for my taxi both down there and back at night. Around 40 quid in all (possibly exaggerating a tad, but it wasn't cheap). I'll be jumping in the big taxi this time. :d

Cheers for the heads up. Hmmmm, decisions decisions. For the sake of a tenner I've just booked the Maypole. If I decide on somewhere else the loss of a tenner won't break the bank.

I just need to find a cheap flight now.

Well not sure if I'll be attending BPM this year as yet as there's bookings pending for that weekend.

But it's rude not to book a room for £10 just in case. So I have :D

It's a con!

I searched (like a normal person would) and they are still advertising £40 odd quid.

You need to click on the '£10 room icon' to take advantage of the deal.

( And I don't think you have to go through the £10 link to find them )

Yes!

I had to search, rebook, then search again with the correct number of rooms, then it wouldn't take my password, so I had to rebook the right Hotel, then number of rooms...sheesh.

Well they're obviously trying to restrict the number of Southerners they admit this year. Good idea. Oop North, the process was simple. :p :D :D :D :D :D :D

What free bar. I did not read any of the posts before booking as I assumed everyone would be central again.

I do not actually know where I was last year?
It was a rubbish hotel out of Birmingham so I am making the most of the bars and shops this year. Only £10 more. :)

Ah well, thoseof you who:
Got lost
Went to another drinking establishment and paid extortionate prices
Got Lost
Stayed elsewhere
Went elsewhere

missed the relaxed drinks in the Chillout Lounge of the Maypole. It ws remarkably relaxed, until:

Funny......I thought it was the sight of my arse that everyone liked? :D
Until the full moon appeared for the second time that evening. ;) :D :D

If everyone is going to be in the Maypole this time, I may have to bring the van again, I'm not sure I can get enough beer in an Astra Estate? :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
