Dont they have a built in program?. No DMX system has ever beaten the built in pattern of the Datamoon. I spent hundreds of pounds and hours trying to create decent patterns for them, only to say each time 'the built in one is still better'. DMX is great for synchronisation and I would not do without it, but separate out the synch requirement from a dmx pattern requirement and you sometimes see a different wood from the trees, and a lot less time , effort, hassle, setup and bovver.

This is about the NJD scanners ;). And i've always had no problem beating the built in packages.

Although it does depend on if your going to leave your controller running or evening, or change your sequence per song/set or a random intervals :)

With a name such as DMX Will I would strongly suspect that you along with if Carlsberg created DMX Patterns, they would probably be the................ :)

Dont the scanners have a built in sequence then?, I was just comparing like for like in assumption

DMX is easy! It's just knowing what looks good, and we all know if looks **** right?

If I remember correctly, the NJD scanners worked the same as the old Martin protocol.

Scanner 1 = Switch 1 only
Scanner 2 = Switch 2 only
Scanner 3 = Switches 1 & 2
Scanner 4 = Switch 3 only
