No.. this isn't a dirty advertisement for enlargement pills....but a real question :)

With the forum software is it possible to have different inbox sizes for different types of members?

This could be a chargable option to help bring in funds to support the forum... perhaps say £1 a month for an extra 100 slots??

MDD Supporters who already pay £1 a month could get a discount... say 50p a month?

Perhaps advertisers could get a slightly larger box as standard when they pay to become an "advertiser" ... to deal with all the enquiries from the forum...

Just an idea :)

One of the benefits of being in the 'Supporters Club', is that PM allowance is doubled from 50 to 100.

Your idea is certainly worth exploring, Alex.

I can see the need for advertisers to have an increased allowance, but I'm not sure whether the general membership would be interested.

Members: post your thoughts here :)

I can see it being a good idea for advertisers, as the amount of business they get from the forum would quickly fill it up, I know Alex hosts and designs a few members sites on here and Toby has had alot of business recently as well.

Also, don't sent items count towards the limit as well?

Might be a bug but mine says I have 180 messages and my "PM box is 90% full".

I would pay extra for it. I'm constantly deleting PM's that ideally I would love to keep but can't due to the space restrictions.

Actually, Steve, now you mention it, I think the info I posted is out of date. I seem to vaguely recall us upping the Supporter quota to 200,and that would fit with your figures.

Although it states 2000 the options are set to "ignore quota" on the admin accounts, so you shouldn't have to delete any when it fills up.

You mean I didn't need to spend several hours clearing out my PMs a couple of weeks ago?

Now you tell me!
