View Full Version : djio stereo
hello
i have dj io stereo that i use in virtual dj. i use it to connect to the mixer and a (jack to phono) in the head phone socket so i get 2 channels on the mixer
the dj io sounds less quality and lower and i need to turn up the gain to get it level even wen the volume in the dj io stereo is on full
im not sure what to do thanks

I've got a mate who has that soundcard I think and the levels that he gets from it are very low compared to his cdj400s.
I used a maya 44 usb for a good while which produces good acceptable levels when used with the asio drivers
(About 45 quid used on ebay) so it might be worth an upgrade?
Recently I have been using the native instruments sound cards and the level output on those is very high. As high in fact as CDJs in clubs.
I have also had no ground loop issues with any of the above cards but that may be luck on my part

I'm missing something here.  When I use the DJ IO, it has two stereo channels, which each go into my mixer. Nothing plugged into any headphone sockets, no volume or quality problems.
In VDJ, go into config ( top of screen ) set the soundcard to DJIO, external mixer, ASIO drivers, left deck channel 1 and 2, right deck channel 3 and 4.
