Hi everyone ive been to the NADJ Yorkshire meeting this evening and put some names to faces.

It was nice to meetup with everyone this evening that went.

Some the the lasers were good last night. I still like the Blue Lanta Sapphire 500. Might wait till the DFB Open night later in the year for that.

Nice run down there yesterday. Was back home at half past midnight last night. Just over an hours run.

But definetely worth going.

We had a fantastic turn out with over 40 djs at the nadj branch meeting there was local djs and ones that travelled from South Yorkshire, Humberside,Lancashire, Cumbria, County Durham and Teesside . A big thanks goes to LANTA and Brooke for their fantastic Laser, LED and Speaker demos, and Simon at Discotechnology for sorting the demo's

I have to say it was great to meet
Super / Twin and the boys
I was a bit pushed for time as i was PAT testing till 7 but really glad i made the effort as it was a good meeting and i bought a Lanta Wash for peanuts too

Due to me nicking the wife's car, rather than proceeding at the more stately pace achieved by my van, John and I arrived over half an hour before the published start time, and had to have the function room unlocked, to let us in! :eek:

( Funny really, cos if we'd turned left in the Car Park, the fire doors to the room were open, and we could have just walked straight in. :D :D )


And one reason for our exalted status was because John was recognised in the bar as soon as he uttered his first words. As soon as he said "Fahve to narn" everybody shouted: " You're from Hull, aren't you? ":D :D :D :D :D

Ive spoken to Sean today and after some negotiation later on. We might be having a go at setting up a NADJ Branch in Humberside at the Royal Hotel in Hull. Depending if we can arrange parking.
