It's new, it's branded, and the specs are superb. Only thing better is the price. It's got to be too good to be true, hasn't it?

Thoughts/experiences, anyone?

8p cheaper if a 16MB cache will suffice...

Wow! Thanks, Vectis. It would be churlish of me to point out that Ebuyer will charge carriage, making them equal in price, so I won't. ;) :D :D

Not if you buy two :)

Anyway, I wasn't going to do a full market analysis; simply pointing out that you CAN buy them for less from a (potentially) more trustworthy source. :beer1:

For a start their description does not add up to their photo info ? and you can get the same drive as detailed in their specs for cheaper or pay a few pounds more for a 1TB drive :)

Aria do them cheaper Here (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Hard+Drives/SATA+(Serial+ATA)/500GB+to+1TB/500GB+Seagate+ST3500413AS+Barracuda+7200.12+Hard+D rive+-+HDD+?productId=44127&source=googleps)

Thank you

Glenn

OK, I know when I'm beaten. :o :o :o :o :o I have to get IDE drives for mine, ( don't ask, long story) and CPC were no dearer than Ebuyer for those. I hadn't realised how much cheaper SATA ones were.

Thanks both of you. Appreciated. ( Possibly more by someone in the Barnet area, than by me, but thanks again. )

This is a family friendly site as I'm sure you appreciate, so can you please stop with the smutty remarks. I know you think it's funny, but it is not.

Not sure about that. Does the extra storage capacity make them heavier? Especially when you fill the space up with MP3's?

Glenski, thanks for all that, I had only read the big writing, and looked at the piccy. The info lower down is indeed different. :daft:
