Format-re-install

Time to format the HD on my play-out laptop , just a bit of housekeeping.
To make it a mean lean playing machine , what is the best way to have a minimum install ( Windows XP SP3) , it need network functionality , but thats it.

When installed from fresh XP SP3 is pretty lean anyhow, just install only what you need for playout ans nothing else.

You could disable any hardware that is not being used and also stop a few services from running like the print spooler and indexing services (unless your dj software needs it) to gain a bit of extra cpu, but in reality if the machine has 1gb ram or more this won't make much difference
