Hi folks,

I am due to attend an old friends wedding from Uni next weekend (20th), and they have just emailed me to advise that their band has let them down and cannot make the function, and can I help them out?

Of course I don't mind - these are great guys, but I am based in Surrey, and can't really take my whole rig as I am not sure that BA would allow that on their flights! :)

A quick search on Google, doesn't throw up a lot of response in terms of DJ Equipment hire. So does anybody know of a decent company that I can hire a PA system and a few lights over there...

Alternatively a DJ recommendation - but I would guess they are all booked at this stage (there doesn't seem that many DJ's either)???

thanks as always :D

Not sure if they do hire but you could try these guys (http://www.needadisco.com/bypostcode/JE2.php) who are mobile ops on Jersey.

I used to work for the ferry company and can tell you with a short wheel based tranist you would be looking at about £900.00 return and that's just van and driver forget the family.
