Just wondering who is up for it at a quiet time of the year early next year. I know there was a few people at bpm said they would fancy it no dates as of yet.

Haven't you not got more pressing priorities at hand? Than talking about BPM and another social night out?

That quite frankly no-one south of Durham would be interested in

Yeah, count me in,

as long as:

a) Ryanair are still flying to Newcastle

b) Someone translates what Steve Hanley is saying :D

It's hard enough getting people down to BPM...it even took years to convince me to go. Even when there's the lure of a trade show like BPM there's still the barrage of excuses and people backing out. sorry to be pessimistic, but I just can't see a lot of people following through.

When the Newcastle trip was first mentioned I was up for it, but now I'd rather just save myself for next years' BPM when there is sure to be a good crowd of people attending.

In the Words of Duncan Bannatyne. "I'm Out" :D

You didn't speak to Dazzy D then? Good heavens, but we had to slow him down some to have a fighting chance of understanding him. :D :D

Anyone would think I had a slight accent:D :D

A couple of reasons why it won't come off:

1. It would have to be on a weekend (Hopefully most of us would be working)
2. There's no trade show to entice people to come
3. Like most city centres it's dead during the week. Monday is the only reasonably busy weekday night. Cos that's the night the students hit town.

Edit: Forgot to add. It's hard enough getting a few local jocks to come out through the week up here

Won't be if twenty or thirty DJ's arrive in the same frame of mind as they hit Brum this week. ;) :D

(I actually did read it that it was your accent you were talking about coming off the first time I read your post :D )

I don't see why folk wouldn't come?

If we get a hotel in place and a bit more information, people might be more inclined.

Hammy and Steve Hanley would come? Even if it's a few of us, I'd still enjoy it.

You lot are my new best friends at the moment. :D

It's a long way, costs money and it's not a business trip or business related?

Oh, and if I do get a weekend off, I'd rather spend it with my family....:)

A guided trip down the big-market on a Friday night would scare anyone away!

I'd be up for it, haven't met any of you 'local' jocks yet!

It depends on when & where

The old George, without doubt, is the most difficult venue to set up in, especially if upstairs. Great night out though.
