D.I.Y Flight cases

Hi all,

All the flight cases i have made so far have been of carpet covered ply.
I am looking to custom build cases to take the imoves, i can get hold of all the corners, edges, handles, and clasps however this time in place of the carpet covered ply i would like to use astroboard / diamond board ect.
Any one know where i can get it from.
could do with about 4-5 8ftx4ft sheets.
or maybe you may know of another product i could use. :lightbulb

I had a black or coloured finish in mind but would use checker plate look if it was all that was available. :)

iam pretty sure you can buy flexible look alike checker which would be alot lighter than metal checker. But i don't know where you could get any really..
i will keep an eye out though
