There's a few of us on here with those heads and we all love them! Great value for money and a fab effect.

What does the £470 get you? Is that just for one head, controller and case?

Yeh..
One head, one controller and one case.

I have a nice lighting rig set up at the mo.. so it is only to supplement the effect.. (and for me to play with).. so I was planning on getting one for now, and then expanding the DMX lights in the future.. maybe with a few iRock rig mountable lights.

I wouldn't bother with the Ilead controller just yet. You'd be far better off getting two heads and a CA-8 controller for just over £500 and saving a few quid until you can afford the controller. The cases do retail at about £90, but can be had cheaper if you look around.

Which barrels have you got Simon?

I bought a Martin EFX500 for a centrepiece, but am undecided whether to sell it and get something else.

Someone was selling a couple of Spotknights on here recently, which are basically the same effect.

Not annoying - we're here to help :)

Have a looky here (http://www.ukdjequipment.co.uk/store/html/Acme_Spot_Knight_Moving_Head_Pair.html) where there's more info.

I don't think they sell them anymore though, but they are very similar if not the same as the Imoves.

Thanks :)
Hopefully I will get them,, Im looking at the acme dmx master controller now which seems to be a better buy than the iLead.. as it seems if i got the iLead i would be rather limited in the range of lights i could have (they say only iSolution ones..)

When I bought mine, I could have got 4 and a controller for less than I paid for 4, but it still worries me slightly buying something from that far away, in case anything goes wrong and you're stuck with the cost of sending them back.

I may be wrong, but I think Darren would be the best person to talk to regarding these - Thomann have a pretty good rep from what I've heard, though I haven't personally bought anything from them thus far.
