You can buy a rubber compound you can use for dunking tools in to create handles etc. Might be worth a look for. Think I saw it in machine mart once. It coats things with silicon rubber comes in differnt colors and is heat proof. May be cheaper than replacing iec's.
Paul, if you mean the most common IEC320 connectors (type C13 & C14 10amp), then I can honestly say I have never come across rubber ones in years of PAT testing thousands of the things :embarasse
Are you confusing these with the rubber duraplug "three-in-line" connectors?
(which are just as fiddly to wire up :mad: )
Why did you specifically want rubber?
Would a heavier duty connector such as a 16a ceeform rated to IP44 be suitable instead?

no, i wanted a rubber one because they, like the normal 13 amp plugs in rubber, survive being trod on.and yes type c13 male

I have a couple Paul, but they were on pre-wired cables rather than individual items.

ah, he means the moulded cordset IEC320s, they're not solid rubber though, they're a compound.

thanks, but i need that type that can be wired as opposed to sealed.
Maybee you cant get them.
