I don't reckon this is very good for a start out. Too many par cans and little movement in the lighting. and the behringer desk?!?!! :omg: No flexibilty what-so-ever
starting out in the way that you can get the whole lot in one go.. but i do agree actually too be honest.. buy maybe they are clever DMX superstars who are starting out.. lol

How can you be a DMX "Superstar" and just be starting out? :s
It was a joke!
lol!
Ok sorry maybe these lights are not the best for the people starting out.. but it is an urm option!
I made the final bid at £550, so I am quite happy, buyer contacted me (Reserve was 1K!!!!) Told him I was only willing to go to £600. That way I have enought left to buy my 2nd CDJ and my next amp.
I am happy with the buy. I really thought I would have got the lot for £450 but there you go. I am lucky as instead of having to buy a truss and 2 T bars I now have them.
As for DMX, how hard can it be, I have a degree in engineering. However I am having problems with my CX3400 :O
Update:
Seller contacted me this morning saying he now wanted £800 for the lot. I told him £600 was my limit so it looks like my business is not going ot get started until next summer :(
Mate,
If he had already accepted 600 then you can use this against him.
If he accepted 600 then that is his quote and he shouldnt be able to change it.. so I believe..

Wrong
Although if you value each lpiece of equipment seperately with the two iRocks etc then I expect it is still a very good deal..
In reply to Angela... oh ok:)
It being a good deal doesn't magically get me another £200. I is v annoyed. Then again in researching the kit on offer it has been a good learning excercise in equipment. Also now I can start saving for the DMX-50 controller and buy the i series lights from Thomann.

If you ever wanted to you could report it to Ebay, if he wanted £800 he should of put a reserve on it for that price. He has agreed to a contract with Ebay that he has to sell the equipment to the highest bidder. Same as when you buy something, when you make a bid you agree to a contract to buy the product at the price you bidded at.
Apparently he put a reserve of 1000 on it but changed it for symo

Pop Rocket - I think you misread. Symo was the highest bidder at £550, but there was a reserve of £1,000 so he didn't get it on the ebay auction: these are now private negotiations post-auction....
