ADJ led messenger - opinions please

Thinking of getting one of these for the kids parties I do.

Are they any good, are they very bright as some of the parties aren't in complete darkness and some lights can get lost.

Ive had one for a few years, they do show up quite well. Would be ideal for kids parties, It probs won't show that well if you have bright sun light in the room, but should be ok in "normal" room light.

Heres a link to mine used for a karaoke event, the room was quite dark, but gives you an idea of what it looks like at a real event.
