Have you tried scan.co.uk they had an offer on either last week or the week before, not sure if its still on though.

Yeh the offer has expired now, not wanting to rub salt in the wound you could actually get the upgrade from 7 for £14.99. I'll keep my eyes peeled for any offers.

Is this not any good then... it says to upgrade before 28th February 2013:

Looks like they may have extended it then! I know when I did it it said 31st jan. So long as you say you bought it in the last three months you should get it for £14.99. I bought a second hand PC, which technically "I" bought in the middle of Jan and it let me upgrade from 7 to 8 for £14.99.

Go through the process and find out. From what I can read in the FAQ no they wont.

The £99 upgrade will be more than enough for most people. The Pro version is more suited to applications including commerce-level protection, WAN integreation and Remote Desktop Access (however, there are applications available separately for each of these tasks so I'm not 100% certain of why Windows 8 Pro Edition is attractive to anyone, really, bearing in mind it's double the price of the normal edition).
