Seeing as my new rig is taking shape. I think I will need some new trussing as the old one looks like a market stall.

I've been looking at this one:
Prolight Wind Up Trilite System

What do you reckon ? It doesn't go very high. But to get anything taller the price goes up too !

what's the truss you've got pictured on your site?

is it Opti Trilite 200 Quad?

wanted to get something similar for large events.

I'm in the market for new truss as well. I owned the prolight one that you've linked to (well, mine had ladder truss but the stands are the same). However, its only lasted me a year.. so you get what you pay for.

I'm looking at this from terralec -

http://www.terralec.co.uk/prod.asp?i=15798&1=ALUMINIUM_TRUSS_BRIDGE_33M

Although, the 2m sections are too long for the car but unfortunately they can only do that package and to order the stands separately and say, 3 x 1m sections and adaptors comes to about £550!!

I've also come across this - http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=ST00758

But it says its rated at 45kg, which must be wrong.. but CPC couldn't shed any light on this when i rang them, they just said its the info they had from the manufacturer - can't imagine too many people spending £400 on a truss that only holds 45kg and i told them this but they wouldn't have it :(

Doh! And i spoke to him today as well, completely forgot to ask.

I've ordered the winch stands from terallec already now though, just went for the stands without the truss.. will look into getting truss at a later date.
