Looks like a copy or re-badge version of....

They look the same but a big price difference. Odd

Not enough spec available to see how close it is, but the MAUIs were out first. Sticking a fender badge on anything will bump the price considerably.

Looking at that I think that's what they are not such good value for money then , the thing that threw me was their statement one set was good for 300 people a bit of an exaggeration now me thinks.

I've used 2 sets of the LD version's big brother for 500, so you're probably right about that then Paul.

Mmm, like all mini line arrays they don't seem to stack up to much:

Reading that, none of them seem to have had much first hand experience of them & are going on what they've read elsewhere & hearsay. The singer in particular seems to have only heard the old L1 B1 set up.

I came across the Fender ones when I was searching for the best price on a powered sub that I want, for a very short time I thought what's the point in paying over a grand for a single compact sub when I could get a pair of these for the same price.
I have since changed my mind and I'm sticking to the more conventional set up because I don't believe their claim a single unit would be good for 300 people I don't even think a pair of them be good enough for 300 either.

I'd think their claim probably refers to a musical performance to a quiet, seated auditorium rather than DJ'ing to a party of 300 rowdy revellers.

I'd say Martin is right there Paul & TBH I wouldn't expect the little fellas to do that either. However.... see post #6
