I am beginning to research my next midi controller/mixer, and the 2 mentioned above are high on my list.
At the moment I have 2 channels of midi control with VDJ and a 3rd channel linked to my iPad with DJay2 as backup or for customers devices.
What I ideally want is the same as above but with a 4th channel of either midi or phono/aux control.
Am I right in thinking that for the VMS4.1 I would need a second sound card, rather off putting?! From what I understand the sound card in the N4 could handle this on its own, is that correct?
Lastly, any other contenders I should consider that would give me 3 channels of midi control without the need for an additional sound card?
