Seem a good compromise between your traditional sub plus top system and your skinny Bose/Vertus system.

Seems to me with an SPL of 129 and bass responce to 45Hz they would be suitable for 18th or 21st partys while still being reasonably descreet or stylish for weddings or formal occasions.
