Iam thinking about buying a cd player and new mixer as I use pcdj rather than carrying around a big flight case around with a duel cd player in it, and Iam looking at a pioneer 500 mixer and a DENON DN S1000 CD/MP3 PLAYER as a back up from pcdj, as I got a new QSC amp Iam assuming a pioneer mixer and denon player should mean I get slightly better sound than I get from my numark cd32s and numark em460 mixer
What do you guys fink:D
cheers

lots of expense if it is only back up gear mike surely? by its nature back up gear is there incase of unimaginable catastrophe surely ? thus it may never get used?
mixer sounds a nice bit of kit but £300 for a cd player that will only be used in emergency? by the sounds of it?

yes I see your point, I guess when i mean back up I also mean non ripped cds, the reason for the mixer change is so it can be side by side rather than a flightcase with empty holes (as taken out spare cd player) and my numark cd32 player has a fault on one side, so I only got 1 cd player, plus looks good and not as heavy
