They are Right Angled FEMALE XLR sockets, which will require soldering :)

its ok, i was kinda knowing what i meant, but could not type it! DOH.
But could someone tell me the wiring for pins 1/2/3, is it just pin to pin from the male/female, to the male/female
i have a blue,red,and stranded earth cable

Yes, assign a colour per pin number, and then make sure they match
Pin 1 to Pin 1
Pin 2 to Pin 2
and
Pin 3 to Pin 3

Did red pin 2, blue pin 3, earth pin 1
