Help with scatscans

Can anyone help?
I have 4 scatscan clubs if I link all 4 together and then switch them on they all work together fine, however the CA8 controller doesn't. I have tried 3 different ca8 contollers to see if that was the problem and same result. I have tried each light as the master and no difference. Also if I just link 2 together they work with the CA8. HELP:bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

could be signal loss between them, the ca8 is pretty basic. Have you tried setting dipswitches on 2 of them to mirror the master effect? sometimes works. Also try changing the cables around incase you have a bad 1.
Best asking Will on this as he's the resident dmx pro.
When i used my event projectors with a basic remote (the ca8 by another name) I found they seemed to work ok on 2 but didnt on 4 turns out i had the dip switches wrong so its always worth starting from scratch and going step by step. have you tried 3 lights instead of 4 for example, 2 pairs of 2 lights?

I have tried all the things you have suggested, I think I may take them back to the shop and get them to show me, if they can't get to work I will return them and put some more money in and get some thing else - maybe 2 moving heads instead

I went back to the shop with the lights and played around and eventually we got them all working with the ca 8 by reversing the run so Master1,2,3,4 became Master 4,3,2,1 and that worked. We have 2 gigs this weekend so will try again.

i have just bought 2 scatscans club twin and cant get them to work with the ca 8 controller i always have trouble with dmx please help also my leds do not come on the ca8 controller but there is still a signal as as the lights flicker please help me

Weeksy, If these where purchased from NPR Entertainments on ebay, They dont with ca-8 and you can't link them, his ebay acution does state this, But bargain at 99 for a pair
