how do i make pictures smaller

Download and install this (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx) and it will make re-sizing simple.

No need to download anything, most PCs have MS paint. Open the image in Paint, click image, click stretch/skew, change the percentage (making sure you do both Horizontal & vertical by the same amount)

There are other ways, including Paintsop pro (which I like to use)

The image re-sizer is easier than Steve's method. All you do, once the application is installed, is to right click and choose your size and it does it for you.
