Hi,

Just thinking about buying one of these, a friend has one and he says its been a good amp, anyone else got any experience with them.

its not very loud is it, be good as monitor amp or a spare

I agree that 200 watts each side into 8 ohms is quite low...mine's double that, and I'm not sure about the company. As far as I know, their gear is at the extreme budget end of the market, although I have no experience of their amps.

What sort of RMS output would you recommend then, ive been using a 250 watt a side for years and people tell me its too loud, this is 350 a side and i was going to run two of them.

Power matching is the key not just higher wattage. A good well matched pair of 200 watt speakers with amp would be just as loud as 1000 watt version I can attest to that to.

i have 1000w a side peak 500wrms a side and when i use the right speakers i neaver trun it to peak but my mate uses a 250w amp a side and he dosent have a problem when useing the right ohms speakers to go with the amp

i used to work for a dj company and most of there gear was from terralec,as for the amp i would say its ok never gave me any problems when i used it over the years so why not GO FOR IT
