Hi all,

As you probably know by now, I have now had the Acme Dynamo scanners for about 3 weeks, I love em. For the money they are awesome (yes really!). I have used them with the controller and without.

Now, I'm being a lazy git and wondered if someone out there who also has these could do me a quick lesson on how to get them to do some spectacular stuff. The guy demo'd me them in the shop...he had 4 scanners set up like I have and did something with the dip switches that made the 2 outside scanners do the opposite to what the 2 inside ones were doing. This way they covered more ground and filled out the floor a bit more rather than all go the same way etc if you know what I mean?

Thanks in advance
Gary

I seem to remember on most dmx items one of the switches makes the unit 'mirror' the y axis and another does the same with the x axis. This way you could have the lights doing the oposite to what the master light is doing on one axis or even 2. i.e. master going left while slave going right master going down with slave going up.

You get the idea. Im sure the leaflet should have the mirror dips marked if not im sure someone will be able to give you the dip settings.

Set dipswitch 10 on and this will invert any of the slaves.

Yep, it's dip switch 10 to mirror the axes but you should be aware that they're not mirrored the whole time - it makes them sometimes go the same way as the others and sometimes the other way. A good thing in my opinion as it makes for a more varied show. I thought it worth mentioning in case you try the switches and think it's not working right...

Course if you buy the Dynamo twins you only need to set two switches:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
