What utter tosh!
The human ear cannot hear outside the 20Hz-20kHz range and that's if your hearing is perfect and you haven't been subjected to loud noises repeatedly and for long periods. Furthermore, given the significant spill from speakers and general noise from punters a DJ gig is far from a critical listening environment where the superharmonics of 5-20Hz and subharmonics of 20-30kHz MIGHT be noticeable (if you believe in sub- and super-harmonic content which is till open for debate).
The 5-20Hz range can only be felt and not heard as the cochlea is not long enough to actually process such a long waveform.
If you want to pay extra for increased audio spectrum that you can't hear and won't need in a DJing environment go right ahead.

Completely irrelevant as the audience doesnt hear the headphones.
A £2 pair from Aldi would do the job fine !
