Currently, for the once in a blue moon karaoke that I do, I use 4 wired microphones. (Pain with cables getting tangled etc)
However, a regular venue of mine is looking to start running karaoke, so I'm considering purchasing some wireless microphones.
Can anyone recommend anything nice and cheap (i.e. suitable for karaoke use, likely to get knocked about).

The KAM 1940s are usually a safe, cheap and reliable option. Always go for UHF wherever you can as these are more reliable for signal quality than VHF.

They've been dropped, smashed, banged...they still work. Had one of the aerials snap off of the receiver after a couple of months and KAM sent me a new one without any questions...they just work....plus you can recharge two at a time via a USB cable that comes with the set.
