POWERED SPEAKER COMPARISON

By arrangement last night I was playing in a Dorking Hotel through a colleagues Disco already set up with FBT powered speakers ( i think X Lite 12 inch)

Outside my son was running the Rodeo Bull with some Country Music pounding through an i pod fed into a single Alto Truesonic TS112a

At average volume I thought the Alto matched the FBTs for quality and bass end.

Didnt manage a high volume comparison for the sake of the Hotels licence:rolleyes:

Dont know the reliability stats but the Altos seem reasonable vale at approximately half the cost of the FBT, although this might not be a totally fair comparison.

The FBTs produced some feedback on the cheap radio mike I was handed to use--probably unfair criticism, didnt have time to get out the trusted JTS.
