ALTO TS112A - £219 ea (122Db - 125Db peak)
W-Audio PSR12A - £247 ea (124Db)
Wharfedale Titan 12 - £275...
I'm looking for something portable and suitable for a medium sized pub karaoke. I prefer the idea of actives rather than 'lugging' a separate amplifier in and out... any suggestions would be more...
Any examples Toby? I could do with some for Saturday...
Cheers Daren, that does help thanks.
Has anyone used these? Thinking about getting a pair for karaoke would appreciate a review.
Me too, he's just trying to get out of paying me for the drivers I think...
After buying the drivers and passing them to the guy who blew my speakers he has now fitted them but is telling me that the reason they blew is that the originals were wired up wrong, and I was lucky...
I sent them an email last night, no reply as yet. I'll bell them after dinner if I've had no reply.
I've no idea how he did it, he live mixes dance music, I'm guessing he turned the bass right...
I recently lent out my CD12SP's to a friend, along with a suitable amp. He decided to use a different amplifier and has blown the bottoms on the speakers :daft: .
What do I need to buy to...
I was messing about watching youtube videos of the thing thinking everyone else would be asleep! :(

I can't see the picture, but I'll take the KAM starcluster for £50! I'm in Stoke on Saturday for the FA Cup match, I can pick it up in the morning.

I've never had mine booted, and the casing certainly doesn't get hot enough to burn...
I bought one two years ago that I had to exchange straight away as the heater wasn't working, but since then I've had no problems, use it at almost every gig with Medium haze fluid, much thinner then...
Why a minimum of 400w?
I thank you. To be fair, I think I only got squared-up to twice last year....
I don't like 18th's, but the worst gig I've done was a 16th when about 30 mins into the gig I noticed I was the only...
I might pop along too.
We've thought about this too for our Sunday afternoons but just 'assumed' it wouldn't be legal?
The reason I'm thinking of doing it is that I've found I have built up a collection of kit and I have a few of people that I know that often borrow bits and bobs from me, one guy is a club dj and has...
Just added myself to the map.

I'm not sure if this is the right forum/sub-forum to place this but - If I was to consider hiring out some of my equipment to other DJ/Bands, what do I need to consider? I've already started to...
As an update, I had to perform the keyhole/handlehole surgery to get the original driver off, there was no wiggling it through. Hopefully the replacement will arrive shortly and I can reproduce the...
She told us that they'd booked the wedding and I offered to do the disco for free on the spot. She provides us £200 a week through a residency, so I think we more than make our money back through...
