Yip you're right,just goes to show that you don't need fancy gear to do a quality job,Its not the tool its how you use it.

I just use poundshop scissors,they work for me,did all my uplighting extensions with them.

Maybe its because i'm a Londoner...Traditional singalong..the words do say it all.

Any Latex adhesive (copydex) you can buy this in 5 gallon tubs from carpet wholesalers.
Be v careful not to soak the area in adhesive as tick bands will seap through the carpet and leave white...
