Well my other 250watt light has transformers like this.

It only powering a low voltage lamp.

I'm hope i don't have to do this and the light looks ok its self.

I also used to use 2 amps in a 4u case. but now i have gone 6u as i added a crossover and a eq. When i put mine on the stand i put it side way. So the back is not covered by the starcloth.

I will have to have a look over the cpc site. Someone is selling the 240v to 12v on ebay for the acme scanners but not the 24v.

the light I have just got are 100 watt lamps.

They also do the same light as 250 watt.

The from a 100watt to 250watt is the same type / style and you can fit a 250 watt lamp in the 100watt...
