I am looking for a way to get my booking forms signed, without having to pay a monthly fee.

Quite a big question this, but where do you get your inspiration and ideas from.
I watch youtube videos, to see what others are doing. Talk to other Dj's etc. But where do you guys get your...
If your desk has Aux Sends, then you can use those to send the signal to either your powered speakers, or the install amps.
Make sure you send the signal Post Fade, then it will be controlled by...
Various bits of rack kit for sale. Would much prefer collection in person, from TW17 area.

Sometimes you have to admit that the mic channel is not as good as it could be. I had the opposite issue with a mc-6000, which has a super hot mic channel. £60 later and a Shure mic attenuater...
Maybe a faulty dmx linking cable.
Have you tried running the light on its own, just in sound active mode, not dmx or slave.
Check that your music gains are not too loud and drowning out your mic..
The key to this is Quality. There are some really crappy ones of these about, that are more plastic than rubber. I have both, and the crappy ones don't get used unless I have used all of my others....
If the vu meter on your mixer is only showing half volume on one side, then the issue is probably a bad connection or poor signal going into the mixer.
Check that you have the output balance set to the centre.
I have used the Behringer Shark feedback destroyers, and they work really well. But your problem, as suggested by SamV, may be gain related.
I had a Numark cd mix as a backup system once, and I...
Sounds cooler than it looks.

Firstly, I too am a "Marathon" man. Snickers is just not right.
I perceive the term "mobile disco" as a bit dated, and I'm a mobile dj (for want of a better word), so how does the public picture...
I completely agree with what you are saying. But is there a contemporary alternative to the term "mobile disco".
The term mobile disco, to me, has images of the 1970's.
If you asked the...
I also think as an industry we need to think of a replacement for the term "mobile disco". To me it seems a bit old fashioned, but I can't think of a modern substitute that represents what we do.
We are entertaining people, but that covers lots of professions. I think entertainer is too broader term.
If someone phones you and says they are looking for an entertainer for their function, do...
If you say you are an entertainer, I think you will then be asked what that involves, and you then have to tell them you are a dj.
So I'm not sure entertainer covers it.
I also think that a dj...
Just to add a side point to this thread. When someone asks you what you are doing on Saturday night, do you tell them you have a disco, a gig, a party, a function, an event.
How do describe the...
On the mc6000 set the crossfader assign switches to "thru" then it shouldn't matter what the software is doing.
Thanks for all your posts.
It's nice to know which headphones people use. Maybe someone could set up a pole with various models listed.
This maybe in the wrong section, so please move if necessary.
I am looking to buy a new set of headphones. I currently use the Technics rp-dj1200, which have lasted well, and I like them. They...
My neighbour just got a £250 fine for going in the Low Emission Zone (LEZ). He had just been to a local diy store, which is just a couple of miles up the road. He only drives a small Escort van, and...
That's a really good list you have there.
I done a 40th last year and this is exactly the sort of thing they wanted to finish with. Ended up doing 2 hours overtime. If you have the right crowd,...
If it's only a really faint hum when you have the speaker volumes turned up, then I probably wouldn't worry about it.
Try unplugging everything from the speakers to see if the hum is still there....
Never heard of Poolstorm before.
It's a shame you can't browse their library or try it out before you subscribe.
Also a shame it's mp3's and no mention of WAV files.
I don't want to subscribe...
