Well I've decided to go for the Numark as my mates got a record shop and can get me one for trade price but he can't get hold of the RMX.
So at least that's made my mind up for me!

I didn't say you HAVE to validate, I just said it's easier to debug and find problems in IE if your code is valid to begin with.

IE is an absolute pain in the bum when it comes to CSS.

IE6 is the worst because it's an old browser it's full of mad little bugs and issues.

Make sure your xhtml & CSS validates to W3C...

I think it definitely depends on the crowd.
Some gigs are pretty raucous and have a great atmosphere and a bit of mic work adds to the atmosphere but other gigs have a more subdued atmosphere so...
