i only store "essentials" on my internal HDD - enough music (mostly floorfillers and hour long mixes) to get by should anything go wrong. everything else is stored on a pair of 750gb external drives...

sounds like a screen redraw issue. check your video card drivers are completely up to date.

notepad++ is also a great free text editor with good search and replace/reformatting functionality
