Circuit breakers will be the MCB/tip switch things, same as in the consumer unit in your house. No surge protection, just overload protection. There to protect the wiring/genny, not your gear!!

Yes and No. They make suitable cable and connectors, I then solder it all together to make interconnects!
Personally I tend to go for Van Damme Cable and neutrik connectors. Not for any perceived difference in sound, but they are good quality cables, and provide a reliable connection, every time.
