Uurrgghh <shudder>....I think I just suffered an attack of chronic flashback. Thank the lord for digital djing. Playlist planning and construction, load-ins / outs and load space have all improved...
The set was around 6 and a half hours long in total. The gig itself was from 8pm until 1am but I got the music going early as a bit of a self-indulgence while I set my lighting rigs up. The venue is...
Sorry Steve...It just doesn't sound the same without Ofra Haza on backing vocals. ;)

I think you are lucky to have the opportunity to play a regular rock night. While the rock/metal scene is booming where I used to live in the Midlands, where I live now is a different kettle of fish...
Can I just add......
A rock night without.....
Disturbed - Down With The Sickness
Drowning Pool - Bodies
System Of A Down - Chop Suey
Metallica - One
Is like a day without...
A solid reliable rock night but have to agree it could do with a little expansion to include the late 60s, 70s and 00s.....Rock is a very wide and all-encompassing genre.
Excalibur covers the 70s...
Indulging in a cheeky Fireball & Apple Juice to congratulate myself on completing another busy weekend schedule.....And relax :).
Isn't it strange how regional variety affects what music we know. When I was DJing back in the Midlands a staple classic party track that everybody knew was Welcome To The Monkey House by Animal...
That'll be a no then. The theory was all for four mics operating on different frequencies would enable them to all work together. Alas this is not so. For some reason only known to a better qualified...
I have a set of KWM11 VHF radio mics that have served me well as reliable karaoke mics for the past 4/5 years (even though I have replaced both mics once in that time because of wear and tear).

A quick heads up Frankie.....If you start to experience lagging issues with OTSAV such as the music stuttering when you search your library or drag & drop tracks into your playlist it will be because...
Or...Without produb you can use every track you have downloaded directly to the primary play-out hard-drive without fear of reprisal.
Let's promote the other side of the coin here....After all,...
Acme Cheetah look the dog's danglies.....Only at £300 a piece they are a hell of a :Censored::Censored::Censored::Censored:-take. Not even worth that much for a pair IMO.
Britannia rules the WAVs!
Seriously, I occasionally get my WAV files from Mastermix (when available).....If only their database was as extensive as Amazon.
Assuming you got the latest ASIO drivers installed from Denon, go into Options > Output Configuration and tick "Old School" mode. This will enable you to select channels 1/2 as the "on-air" channels...
That part is clear. The digital file is not the original format so is subject to copyright infringement.
A digital file that is purchased as a digital file and downloaded / kept on the primary...
So anyone who has invested in OTSAV software wishing to convert MP3/WAV downloads to OTS file will ALWAYS have to pay twice for their music, even though it is only the one copy of it they will ever...
OK Angela here's another misty area for you and one I am not entirely sure of myself:
Does converting MP3 / WAV file to OTS files constitute format shifting?
Morally I would say no because...
In my limited understanding of copyright, a produb licence isn't needed if your music downloads are being delivered directly to your primary play-out hard-drive.
A back-up copy of each track is...
Was it the clubbing program that used to be on Live TV, the channel that brought us Topless Darts and the Bouncing Dwarf? :daft:
A classic tune and you certainly do it justice. Well done!
According to the instructions with my Stairville Par 64s ALL dipswitches need to be in the OFF position in order to be controlled via DMX (although mine are the ones with 12 switches rather than 8). ...
