If you have bought yours recently you were lucky to find one as Ultimate have stopped producing them. I have 8 IECs and 8 DMX in/outs (plus switches) on each half of the truss.
Really? Had no difficulty getting one, but hey - it could've been the retailer happily shifting old stock for all I know
Mine's kitted out with 8 permanent IECs plus two lots of 4 switched (for lasers and other StL effects that aren't under intelligent control - things like my laserball). As far as DMX is concerned, I've simply made loops so I can run pairs of effects master/slave OR for the odd occasion where I run a full DMX setup I can run them as a continuous loop end-to-end. I've bridged the "gap" with a pair of bulgins on a 12" cord rather than have two vertical sets of cables.
