    Default Is there much difference?

This a question for the speaker boffins

I have been looking at the Mackie range of subs and I need a little help

Link. This has 1x 18" sub which is 800 watts rms and has a max spl of 135db.

Link. This sub has 2x 18" which is also rated at 800 watts rms but has a max spl of 136db.

Would I be guess right that the sub with 2x 18x would give a deeper feel???

If size and weight aren't an issue, two drivers will move much more air than one.

I think SPL is sound pressure level, I think the difference is in one, there is two 400w 18” subs and the other, just one 800w 18” sub.
If weight and cost wasn’t a problem I personally think the twin would be better.

It’s like the saying “two heads are better than one”.

New car for main gear + trailer for speakers (depending on size)

Having owned Mackie and RCF, thought the Mackies were 1501s, I would definately go for the RCF.
