When I'm in the car on my own it's Deep/Funky House, Old-School Hip-Hop (Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, etc.), Nu-Skool Breaks and Progressive House :D
You can see this coming a mile off, can't you.

Ummm... I don't know how you differentiate a 'driving song' from just a regular song?

The standard issue sound system in my Ford Focus is a generous offering, and I find the quality to be very satisfactory. As such, I listen to a lot of well produced electronic and hip-hop music, with good bass. I suppose I also tend to take a lot of CDs that I can sing along to, as no-one can hear you singing at the top of your voice! 'The Smiths' are a firm favourite in the car, I must say.

A friend of minesent me a mix CD he'd done and I got a speeding ticket... THAT is the definition of driving music - music that is conducive to driving and adds to your enjoyment of doing so (if you enjoy driving), or allows you to enjoy something whilst driving (if you don't).

The best driving music I ever knew were the first two Santana albums. They used to make the journeys between Marbella and Malaga airport fly by.
