Hey Guys, great site you got here. Just a quick hello before I trawl through the forum with a fine comb.
I live in Lincolnshire, I have been DJing for about 8 years now, in the UK and Overseas. I love playing funky house, commercial dance, rnb and old skool. I've worked in all the more notable chains on the high-street, Yates (6 months), Chicago Rock (14+ months), Walkabout (3 years+), The Bedroom (3 months, OMG loved this venue, damm the no smoking ban.) and countless functions mostly across the northern half of the UK.
Worked over in Kavos, Greece summer 2007 that was so much fun, hard-work though, no days off, learnt alot as you can imagine and such a crazy time.
So why I am here? Well after some bad news last week I am now gigless (is that a word lol). Thanks to a pub closure and reducing a 2 DJ, 2 Dancefloor venue to just 1 DJ.
So basically I am here looking to see what opportunities this site will bring me. I can work Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun anywhere with a 2 hour radius of my home in Grimsby.
That covers anywhere as far as Durham to the North, Nottingham to the South, Oldham/Wigan to the West and... can't go any further East.
I am heavy or as light on the mic as is necessary to work the crowd, and know my tunes across all genres.
