    Default C300z speaker tightening screws

At Saturday's gig, I noticed my speakers were not sitting completely straight on their stands, but were both slightly leaning to one side. I also noticed there's a fair bit of play if you try moving them around when they are sitting on the stands.

In order to solve the problem, I've decided to start using the long thin bolts with plastic wheels on the end to properly secure the speakers to the stands. I've never used these before, but think that putting them in the speakers & tightening them up should solve the problem.

That's where I need your help, because when I received the speakers, only ONE of them came with a tightening bolt fitted, but the other was missing. I wasn't bothered at the time, as I didn't expect to use them, but now I find that I need to.

Does anyone know where I could get one of these from?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the link Tony, but none of those seem to be long enough.

I guess taking the bolt out of the speaker & measuring it would be a good starting point!

Edit: Just done that, and it appears to be M5 & about 120mm long.

    Should give you some idea.....

Edit - 120mm long.............I would go to a hardware store and by some studding (cheap enough), you may even find the handles at the store.....

    Update time.

I spoke to Mackie, but they gave me a telephone number of one of their service centres & told me I'd need to contact THEM.

I called, but keep getting an answerphone, so when I've been out in a while, I'll call back & leave a message.
