I did the music and commentry on a school sports day today and did a mini disco for the kids for 35 mins duing their playtime.

One kid even called me 'Sir'

I had them screaming and shouting, break dancing, doing the cha cha slide, YMCA and the dreaded Crazy Frog. Funnily enough, even though these are infants, they also liked Soulja Boy and Flo Rider. They went mad when I put Low on.

This is possibly the only time when you will see me dancing to action songs too...

Got another one tomorrow, but at the Juniors.

Move over, Mr Mayhem, I require your crown.

(Just kidding - one a year is enough for me, to prove I can still do it!)
Jeesh your a better man than me, Id rather entertain a bunch of hairy bikers or skinheads

An explaination for those who don't know me that well.

My kids were at the school and I am a governor there. I have been doing the sportsdays and fundays for free for the last few years and now my kids aren't there, I charge a nominal fee.

This isn't something I generally do!

Now thats what i call a MOBILE disco...

Do you DJ from inside your van or do you have to turn your back on them to change tracks?

No signs on the van? would have been a perfect opportunity to advertise your services.

It was mainly commentry on the races and introducing kids and classes, announcing the race winners and trying to get the spectators whipped up into a frenzy...

VDJ was on auto while I was doing that and the mini disco didn't last that long, so I was outside the van being interactive.

There's a white cable going into the van. I'm guessing thats the main power source.

    From the school.

There's a cable on the grass, that goes into the school. And yes, I did a risk assessment and the cable was out of the way of the children.
