hey guys

Im 18 and im in the process of starting a mobile disco business with my mate to raise extra cash for uni next year.
I have been a bedroom DJ for 2 years and finally decided to try and make money out of the decks

im in the process of buyin a lighting and sound setup

ive decided to buy a pair of American DJ Reflex LED DMX lights, a strobe, a goalpost truss and been advised to add a set of Par Cans to give a bit of simple lighting.

im on quite a tight budget so still tryin to find some speakers. looking to spend around 250 to 300 on speakers.

Welcome to the forum OmToM.

Unfortunately unless you've already got a lot of the gear you'll struggle to make much (if any) money in the first year.

I hate to sound negative, but DJing can be a very expensive hobby/business.
You also need to choose your audience and age group. I reckon it'd be best to start with younger crowds (when I say younger I mean around your own age group) BUT they do tend to prefer plenty of bass - which involves - yep, you guessed it - bigger speakers and more money.
