    Default new amp,which amp?

    hi,,after some advice please....two questions reguarding a new amp and which power output.....i use the electro voice speakers each rated at 250w 8 ohm,so the amp would be a 2 + 300w per channel?? also if i was to buy a new amp 2 + 300w per channel how much for a good brand one? any recommended? thanks

    go crown, mine has been great only cost about £300 i think? The numark dimention are good on a budget as they have the built in crossover which saves money and space.

    ok will have a look for that make,i was looking to spend £300/£400,i`m using the peavy cs800x at mo buts getting old and weighs a tone 48lb in fact,,to heavy plus with the flight case..

    As mentioned before I really reccomend Warrior amps. I have 3 and never had any probs. Don't be put off by the cheap price

    I ahve the T.Amp 1400 from www.thomann.de great amp stays cool all night, pumps out the sound without trying. 3 year warranty.

    A bit powerful for 250w speakers. Have heard great reports about that amp though.

    You dont turn it all the way up and perfect for when/if you buy louader speakers Good price aswell.
